International Talent Workshop is film workshop intended for students, and young people with different point of view from around the world. Students are united together for learning and creating quality film accomplishments with the idea of spreading tolerance.
The Workshop is traditionally held every year in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, during the Festival of Tolerance – Jewish Film Festival Zagreb. This year, for the 7 year in a row the Workshop is taking a place form May 17th to 24th 2014. Young talents from Croatia and abroad will, uder the expert guidance, make one short meter film. They will have the opportunity to show their accomplishmet to the audience in Zagreb on May 24th at 20:15 PM at kino Tuškanac.
This year, the selection committee chose a total of 6 best applicants and formed a single group of workshop participants.
The programme of the Talent Workshop consists of a series of lectures, film screenings, screenplay development, shooting, editing, open discussions in a friendly atmosphere and, finally, realization of short digital film. The Workshop unites film theory and practice, with the aim of filling the gap between formal education and its practical applications, and creating a multicultural dialogue among participants from all over the world.
The young future film makers will work with Mr. Branko Lustig, the Honorary President of the Festival and double Academy Award winner, Mr. Mirko Ilić, esteemed designer and illustrator, whit others expert such as Mr. Darko Lungov, famous director and screenwriter, Academy Award winner Stefan Ruzowitzky and famous german director Jeanine Meerapfel.
